Products

What we supply

Everything we sell comes from one plant and one controlled process, from raw nut intake to export packing. Grades, packing formats and delivery terms are available on request.

Cashew kernels

Whole and white kernels, sorted and graded for the snack industry and for food manufacturers worldwide.

About 1.5 twenty-foot containers a day at full capacity

Cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL)

Extracted from the shell, for the chemical and automotive industries and for specialty chemical producers in Europe and the United States.

About one twenty-foot container a day at full capacity

De-oiled cashew shell

The fibrous shell left after CNSL extraction is a biomass fuel. It raises the steam for our own process, and we are developing it as a renewable energy source for the whole plant.

About 60 t/d produced

The plant

Built for consistent, traceable supply

  • Continuous process. A short lead time from raw nut to packed kernel keeps quality high.
  • One closed site. Every operation takes place in a single controlled factory, which limits the risk of contamination.
  • High yield. The line is designed for more than 80% whole kernels and 90% white kernels.
  • Traceable lots. Each shipment can be traced back through the process.
  • Food safety standards. We are building the plant to achieve BRC and IFS certification.
  • Counter-season supply. East Africa harvests from September or October into the following year, when the northern origins are between crops.
A message from our founder

I am Sarah Saleh Masasi, founder and CEO of T Masasi Agro. We are building a cashew processing plant in Lindi, in the heart of Tanzania's cashew growing region, and it will start production in early 2027.

What we offer buyers is straightforward: cashew kernels and CNSL of consistent quality, processed at origin in one controlled plant, to the food safety standards that international customers expect.

Processing cashew where it grows also keeps value, jobs and skills in Tanzania. Our plant will employ more than 2,000 people every day, and 70% of them will be women. We will train local people in the skills a modern food plant needs, and we will provide a kindergarten and health services for our employees and their families.

We are a family business and we build long partnerships. I invite importers, traders and food manufacturers to talk to us now about volumes for our first seasons.

Sustainability

Nothing from the nut is wasted

The kernel is only about a fifth of the raw nut by weight. We sell the shell liquid as CNSL, then use the de-oiled shell as fuel for the plant's steam. Our energy comes from our own residue, not from imported fuel.

Buying from T Masasi means buying from a plant that keeps processing, employment and energy in the growing region.
